What is P3PEdit?

P3PEdit is a web-based wizard that creates P3P policies for websites. The wizard is extremely easy to use and takes minutes to complete.

By asking basic questions about how your website collects data from its visitors, P3PEdit generates an XML document that web browsers such as Internet Explorer can read, and process.

P3PEdit creates P3P policies that are necessary to set cookies in Internet Explorer 6. With its new privacy features, Internet Explorer blocks cookies from third-party websites. This means that if you are trying to set cookies from you webserver on another site, your cookies will be blocked. Or if you have a website with multiple domains, only the primary domain may set cookies without a P3P policy.

P3PEdit provides the solution to the Internet Explorer cookie blocking. A P3P policy generated by P3PEdit will allow you to set cookies in Internet Explorer again.
